The last word is in Norwegian, isn't that cheating?

And his English is quite good for him being 11 years old and Norwegian.

He couldn't stop talking about it this morning at breakfast, so I think he enjoyed it a lot.

Jeff, Mallet's Mallet is a game that practically every person over about 18 in the UK knows about. It was a game on a kids morning TV show called Wackaday, or was it the Wide Awake Club, I don't remember.

Anyway, it was hosted by this loon called Timmy Mallet (who later went on to get a number one hit with the cover of "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Polka Dot Bikini").

Well, Timmy had this big foam Mallet. The rules of the game Mallet's mallet consist pretty much of word association. Timmy Starts with a word which the first player then replies with the first thing that pops into their head. The second player then does the same with the word provided by the first player. The word has to be relevant enough to lead on from the previous word, but if you hesitate for even a second, then Timmy will smite you with his foam mallet.

And good for Torstein, I wouldn't have guessed he wasn't English from his replies, let alone eleven years old! I sure bet he'd win if the game was played in Norwegian!

Foss told me earlier that Torstein is good in English for being eleven years old, but that stuff is fantastic
