Decorating
I spent much of the weekend painting the living room, with the help of Tom and Ems. I never remember how much hard work it is to paint a room, so I'm always eager to get started. However, once I've spent an hour with my head at some stupid angle while I paint the ceiling, I get sick of it. I can think of hundreds of things more fun than simulating a broken neck and making myself feel like a lab bunny by flicking white matt into my eyes.
It dawned on me earlier. All I really need is some tins of paint and a few top quality pineapple grenades. I can remove all furniture from the room, put tape all over the windows, drop a live hand-grenade into the goop, and run for my life. Hey presto, one freshly painted room. All the aesthetic value, none of the hard work.

Here is an easy way to paint. Mix equal parts lager and interior paint in a large mug. Drink. Stand on ladder and relieve yourself on the wall. I just came up with this technigue and have never tested it, so let me know how it works out.
Dear Jeff,
This weekend will see the pilot launch of "project pisspaint". I'll let you know how it goes.
